LSS 2113 Intercultural Studies - 12 Dimensions Critical Reflection

Part:-

Status: - mean people who like to work a hard to achieve what they want and it better than give it to them because I want to be discovered something significant in my life. Also, there are some people give them what they want like king, these are ascribed them which mean they have right to get it.

Expressions:- mean there are some people conceal (hide) their information or feeling about what happened especially if it is a negative information or feeling , but some time people will reveal (show) what they feeling when people feel or see this is right time.

Communication: - mean there are some people want to talk to you face to face which is directs, but some other talks to by email or chat which is indirect.

Decision make: - mean there are people don't care about situation of the person if he have problem because they must follow the rules, but some other show respect to people who has problem and they don't follow the rules which that some go relationship between them.

Part:-

Base on my CMi results, compared to my group, I can make the following analysis of 4 of my dimensions / Polarities, First Status, I become more achieve which mean I like to work hard to get what I want and I can do many great things, so compared to my group I say that almost of my group like my way which to achieve by hard work is better than get by easy way.

Second Expression, I see in my CMi result that I'm conceal which I like to hide some information specially if its privacy. In addition, I can see most of my group more like to be concealing because they know that mean of privacy of the people.

Third Communication, in my result I know I'm slightly from side of direct which I like to talk people face to face sometime and that will allow to me to know true even if it hurt. Also, most of my groups are like to be slightly direct and there little of them very direct.

Forth Decision make: - My result show that I'm slightly like to make my decision in relationship because some time rules can make a lot of problem and whose know may be can destroy a good relationship , which that little of my group like to make decision based on the relationship more than rules.

At the end of the result I can say I agree of the result because that who I'm an I like to slightly now, but whose know may be I will try to change to make balance between every things in the dimension like to be close from middle or may in the middle for example not every time you need to choose to follow the rules or not because it depend in the situation you are on it.    

Part 3:-

My result will change in the future because people will never stay the same. I will change my dimension because I like to be closer from middle to make a good balance between people and even in my life. In addition, life is allow change and evolve with that people also change even I because of that I believe I will change big change in my especially when I get marriage.  

I decide to change everything in the dimension to make it better especially in outlook because I want to more tradition and I don't have main to be far from innovation. Also, I want context to be more formal.

Exercise #6: Jose Mujica

1. On revolutions and revolts:
It is Accountability/ Community because Mujica want have better society that need organization, discipline and long- term work.

2. On legalizing divorce:
It is Outlook/ Tradition because Mujica  talk about past like he say when wanted to dancing, he must wear suits and ties.

3. On materialism:
Destiny/ Directed because Mujica believe that God is the one who help them and Guide them.

4-On global consumption
Accountability / Community like global politics should be moving in that direction and thinks as poeple and countries.

6-ending conflict
Accountability / Community like I thinks all us Latin Americans have to help.

7-On staying humble in  office
Status / Ascribed like As soon as politician start climbing up the ladder, they suddenly become kings.

8-On redistribution of wealth
Growth / personal like Government most have enough profits so workers can buy the goods they produce.

9-On Age
outlook / innovation like grandpa has to be the open-minded one.

10-On Addiction
Decision-Making / Rules like presidents want choose love is better than anythings else.

11-On poorest president
Expression / Revealing like My lifestyle is a consequence of my wounds.

12- On donating
Accountability / Individual like president thinks that his duty to help other people by give them his own money.

13- his goals
Planning / People like president  want to achieve a little less injustice in Uruguay to Help people.

14-On being a president
Connecting / Inclusive like he is civil servant to the people.

15-On the secret of happiness
Outlook / Tradition like because he beleive in himself that why he is happy

- Clearly we can see there is child stands up from his seat and leave the Todd seat, but after that the child sits on Todd. In addition, from this station we can the Indian people show respect to the old people that many be a part of their culture.

7. Todd wants to check in to a hotel. But Puro insists he comes to a boarding house. What is the reason he gives Todd?

- Todd bought a cup of Sweetness with juice, after that he eat Sweetness and drink juice, but that cost him a pain in stomachache.

8. As soon as they meet, Aunti Ji starts asking very intimate questions that Americans who have just met would never ask. What kind of things does she ask?

- What is your father do? What is your selling? Are you married? Do you have a girl friend? Why break up?

Exercise #4 Cultural Dimensions/(Asian)

Asian community is one of society that likes people to have a good relationship between them and focus in Universal, but Asian don't like people to be independent self.

clearly from what I read we can know that some culture follow their traditional to keep the relationship between people and make them know each other more which that make them think to help each other to solve their problem, but Unfortunately some other culture believe in simple rules to organize their choices in life which that make their thinking limited and Follow the role is better.

For example in Japan for community that is children of the Japanese change their behavior depended of understand own family because that wills a part of traditional.

World Views Exercise #2

A. Ban in public buses targets Muslims in Xinjiang:-

The conflict was in Xinjiang, China between Muslim and China Regulations. In addition, there was fight happened between Muslims and security forces Xinjiang because China rejection the customs and traditions of Muslims. The cultural view was Power and fear because China use security forces to make Muslim accepted China Regulations.

We can say the China should not rejection the customs and traditions of Muslims, but they can make Muslims use their customs and traditions far from China people like a special place.

B. My World Views:- 

In my life over to a lot of guilt as there are many things that have been committed by mistake and did not know the people who have been problems with them did not tell him by mistake committed. Also, I feel shame and honor when people make mistakes you in matters of religion or the family is not allowed me to hold the nerve is no secret about it is probably litany fear if he pitched a great person cannot be addressed to him, so Which gives me the strength to respond to such sayings fierce.

Exercise #1

Is bullfighting cultural acceptable? OR should we as traveler's to help make changes in traditions??

The tradition running of the bulls is very bad because this tradition first thing is many people hurt them self from bull and many went to the hospital. Second thing this tradition allows end with kill and torture the bulls that is very horrible to animals.  

I think people must change this tradition from kill and torture bulls to become play game Bull wooden and take some souvenir like Bull wooden doll or pictures with Bulls.
